GEARS OF WAR 2: ONLINE CONTEST

To trigger pre-launch buzz, user generated content was integrated into an online contest for GOW2 enthusiasts. A splash page directed contestants to use their mobiles to dial an 800 number and leave a creative ‘911-style’ message about monster attacks. From 1000s of entries, the best five were used as unlockable content in the site.
